A child lost his shoe in the sea and, upset, wrote in the sand: “The sea is a thief!” He cried as he stared at the endless water.
Nearby, a hunter threw his net into the sea and caught many fish. Happy with his catch, he wrote on the shore: “O Sea of Generosity! You are so kind!” He praised the sea for being generous.
Further along, a young diver went into the sea for what turned out to be his last dive. His grieving mother, heartbroken, wrote in the sand: “This sea is a killer!” She wept as she mourned her loss.
An old man found a beautiful pearl given by the sea. Thrilled, he wrote: “The sea is kind and noble!” He celebrated the sea’s gift with joy.
Then, a huge wave came and washed away all the messages from the shore. Everything was erased.
The lesson was clear: “Don’t judge by what others say or see. Everyone has a different experience, and the sea—like life—can be many things. It’s not about what the sea is, but how each of us experiences it.”
